Bookzilla Review: The Cave by Bryan Meadows

As I reflect on the information provided in The Cave, written by Bryan Meadows, I can’t help but to reflect on the deliverance I received through the edifying knowledge provided within this book. Coming from a person who has been in many of what would be referred to as caves throughout my life, I can wholeheartedly attest to the life changing counsel Apostle Meadows provides in The Cave.

In this book, Apostle Meadows gives detailed wisdom as to why feeling invisible, or being hidden, is needed in order to develop character and prepare us for the assignment God has for us. He clearly explains this part of our evolution as the Season of Obscurity. Meaning we are strategically hidden for a purpose and part of that purpose being to learn how to navigate seasons of darkness. Throughout the book, Meadows gives numerous amounts of biblical accounts that supports and represent the truth in the importance of going through our seasons of obscurity.

I love the relatable metaphoric language Meadows uses to get different points across in this book. It reminds me of the many parables used throughout the bible  in order to ensure believers knew exactly what was trying to be explained. Meadows does an amazing job with capturing the attention of his readers by using this type of engaging rhetoric.

Throughout my life, I quite often would find myself in isolation. Oftentimes while growing up, I didn’t want to be around anyone or do anything and I would always ask why am I this way. I also would think something was wrong with me. Sometimes I stayed “ducked off” longer than I needed to be because I would get comfortable. But now after reading this book, I have extreme clarity of the importance of these seasons of my life, how to navigate through them, and the attention I need while it’s happening. To be honest, if it wasn’t for those secluded times I wouldn’t be the writer I am today because guess what I used to do while being isolated…..

I highly suggest you read this book if you know you can relate to going through a cave season or if even you just need something new to read. I can promise you that you will not end this book without learning some type of amazing edifying information.

Blessings and Shalom ❤
